Hi,
I haven’t posted anything in a year, I’m so sorry for that. I was really busy with school, but I have a summer break right now, so I have more time to post things!
For today I decided to do the Netflix book tag. This tag was created by a darker shade of Whitney (on YouTube, link: https://youtu.be/OVrydXU4okw).
Basically you have to answer a couple of Netflix-related questions, so let’s get started!
1. Recently watched; the last book you finished reading. Het boek van voorheen by Jen Minkman. This book is a Dutch book. I didn’t really enjoy reading it. It is a stand alone book and a dystopian, these things don’t work well together in my opinion.
2. Top Picks; A book/books that have been recommended to you based on books you have previously read.
In a video of Sasha (abookutopia), she said that if you liked Shatter me by Tahereh Mafi, that you’ll also like the darkest minds by Alexandra Bracken. I can’t thank Sasha enough for this, because it became one of my favourite books of all time! So thank you Sasha ❤️
3. Recently Added; The last book you bought.
Lord of shadows by Cassandra Clare.
I LOVED THIS BOOK.
I was so happy when I got it from the American bookstore. I already knew that I wanted to buy it, so when I saw it, I grabbed it, paid for it and went straight home.
You have to realize that being in a bookstore usually takes me at least like 2 hours…
4. Popular on Netflix
Books that everyone knows about (2 you’ve read and 2 you have no interest in reading)
I’ve read Anna and the French kiss by Stephanie Perkins and a court of mist and fury by Sarah J. Maas.
I have no interest reading (most) high fantasy books.
5. Comedies
A funny book:
Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout.
#GottaLoveDaemon :’)
6. Dramas
A character who is a drama queen/king
I can’t think of a book with a drama queen/ king right now…
7. Animated
A book with cartoons on the cover
I don’t think I’ve read a book with a cartoon on the cover.
Or maybe a Geronimo Stilton book when I was younger?
8. Watch It Again
A book/book series that you want to re-read
I’d like to read the infernal devices by Cassandra Clare again. They were absolutely AMAZING!!!
9. Documentaries
A non-fiction book you’d recommend to everyone
The dairy of Anne Frank.
10. Action and Adventure
An action packed book
The hunger games by Suzanne Collins has ‘some’ action 😉
11. New Releases
A book that just came out or will be coming out soon that you can’t wait to read
A court of wings and ruin by Sarah J. Maas. This came out a while ago, but I have to read it because I loved the previous books in this series!
12. Max: Tag some people!!
I tag everyone who wants to do this tag 🙂
This was the book tag, I hope you enjoyed it. If you want to see another book tag, a review or if you have any tips for my blog, please write it in the comments ❤️

Hi! Thanks for reading my book 🙂 (Het boek van voorheen). It’s not a standalone book, the sequel is called De wereld achter het water. More books in the series are out, but they’re in English and I don’t know if they’ll be published in Dutch. Those are called Beyond the Fence and Across the Sea.

Hi, thanks for your comment!
I didn’t know that het boek van voorheen had a sequel. But I really want to know more about the history of the island, so I’ll be sure to read the sequel 🙂
